Growing up immersed in a digital world, I’ve watched technology completely transform everyday lives, turning into something to be relied on. My series, Intimacy of Relationships, explores relationships in today’s day and age, with an emphasis on media’s influence and the way it shapes connections. Each photograph explores this theme, suggesting longing for a real connection. I want this series to serve as a reminder to stop living life through a screen; that real connections grow by staying present and in the moment. I find that, if you are living life through a phone, you aren’t really living.
